Q: How long has THE FARM been around?
A: Since 1961, when we were the only inhabited property for miles around.

Q: Do you take electronic payments, credit, &debit cards?
A: Yes, but only with a $20 minimum purchase and $1 processing fee. We also accept cash and local checks. This includes samsung pay, apple pay, and google pay.

Q: What days/hours are you open?
A: On Saturdays and Sundays only from 9 AM to 4 PM (or until we get tired). During our annual Fall Harvest Festival in October,we are open more days/extended hours.

Q: Are you handicapped / wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, for the most part. We have wheelchair accessible porta-potties and most of the grounds are navigable via wheelchair, with assistance.

Q: Can I bring my pet to THE FARM?
A: No outside animals are permitted

Q: Is there a fee to enter THE FARM?
A: Shopping the market is always free. If you wish to visit with the animals of BARN BUDDIES RESCUE, we do charge a small admission fee of $10 for guests 13+ and $5 for guests under 12. Infants are not charged.

Q: Is THE FARM available as a special event venue?
A: Yes. Parties of all sorts, dances, meetings, birthdays, weddings and other events can be held at THE FARM. Please see our group events page for details.

Q: How is THE FARM operated?
A: With a lot of love and hard work by Farmer Sharon and Farmer Glenn and a BUNCH of volunteers. Farmer Sharon is always looking for volunteers and any other kind of support – money, equipment usage, material donations, etc.

Q: Is there anything for sale there?
A: Yes. We have a small Farmers Market, with seasonal fruits and veggies. We also offer a nice variety of small-batch, local artisan products like jams, jellies, chutneys and bread, as well as our own local raw honey and farm-fresh eggs. Cold soft drinks and bottled water are also available. During the Fall, we also have a HUGE selection of pumpkins and squashes. Additionally, animal feed bags are available for a small fee.

Q: How long should I expect to spend at THE FARM?
A: Well, that’s up to you. You can take a leisurely stroll around the grounds, while meeting the animals and browsing the market. You can then have a seat in any of a number of locations around the property and rest or take in the sights. There is no set tour or time allotted. But as a rule of thumb, expect to spend around an hour here. More, if you have young ones…
